Enable GPS on Nokia N96

Some conturies not allow mobile phones to have GPS systems, for this nokia had special frimewire version for N96 that disable internal GPS from working.

Here is how you can solve this problem and unlock your Nokia N96 GPS.

1- First go to http://www.bphreaks.co.uk/index.php?main_page=page_2 and download an application called Nemesis Service Suite Beta

2- Install the Nemesis application to your pc.

3- Use google to find a Nokia N96 product code (if your phone is arabic enabled then search for product code from the gulf area - support arabic)

4- After getting the product code , open the Nemesis suite application on your pc and connect to your mobile using USB , choose PC suite mode.

5-From Nemesis select ‘Scan for new device > Phone Info > Read’ This will give you your current product code.

6-Insert your new-found product code into the product code box, and tick enable, then write. It should only take a few seconds, and then if you click read again it will show your new product code.

7-Now update your Nokia software from the internet if you want to, open up Nokia Software Updater, make sure your phone has enough battery, and run through the updating process.

We changed the Nokia N96 product code to allow us to update our Nokia N96 software to a diffrent version that enable the GPS
